1. selfie stick or selfie

Popular around the world, selfie sticks help people to take better selfies - pictures of themselves.

2. awesomesauce

A popular word used to mean "awesome" or "excellent". For example, "that TV show was awesomesauce".

3. hoverboard

Shown in the movie, "Back to the Future", hoverboards are boards that hover - or float above the ground. You use them to travel, like a skateboard.

4. manspreading

This word describes people, usually men, take up a lot of space on public transport, like buses or subway, usually by spreading their legs very wide.

5. Youtuber

Someone who creates videos and posts them on Youtube.

6. pocketdial (or buttdial)

Used to describe when your phone is in your pocket and the buttons are accidentally pressed causing it to call someone.

7. phablet

A word that is a mix between 'phone' and 'tablet', it describes a smartphone that is big like a tablet.

8. lolz

Used in chat programs, this means "laughing out loud" and is used to show that you are laughing at a joke, or yourself.

9. bingewatch

This word describes watching videos or TV shows for several hours, one after the other.
